COVID-19 Action Plan

Dear Valued Customers,

We’re here for you

We want to reassure you that your waste and recycling collections will continue as normal throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortress are determined to remain open for as long as the government allows us to.

Our commitment and responsibility towards our customers is as strong as ever as we all face this global pandemic.

Our Action Plan

Your safety as well as the safety of our team members are our highest priority. Our Action Plan to keep colleagues and customers safe and well are as follows:

  1. We would ask that you keep a minimum of 2 metres distance from our collection crews at all times.

  2. If your containers are stored inside your premises we would ask you to ensure that you bring them outside for us. Our drivers have been instructed not to enter any customer premises.

  3. All of our collection vehicles are fitted with hand-washing facilities. Crew members are aware of their responsibility to wash their hands regularly.

  4. Operatives will wear gloves at all times when handling your containers.

  5. All Fortress employees will be sent home to self-isolate if they display any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Stay safe and well.

Best Regards,

The Fortress Team
