After 30 years in the industry, Fortress is still family owned and run and owes much of its success to recognising that customers are the life blood of the company. We care and strive to provide excellent service and value for money.

Fortress is an innovative and ethical waste recycling company, led by a Chartered Environmentalist; we are committed to reaching the goal of zero waste. Here at Fortress we recognise that putting waste in the ground or burning it is a waste of the Earth’s resources, damaging to the environment and unsustainable on a finite planet. We view waste as a resource in disguise.

All Fortress vehicles and equipment are maintained to a very high standard. Vehicles are purchased direct from the manufacturer with whole life Contract Maintenance Agreements. To ensure maximum reliability, Fortress has a policy of replacing vehicles after five years’ service.

Every vehicle has satellite tracking which allows our staff to pinpoint exact vehicle locations and plot routes to enable us to reduce the amount of fuel we burn. All containers are micro-chipped so we are able to monitor container collection activity and thereby provide a second to none service for our customers.
